Increase in Payment for all BC Foster Parents
The Provincial Government Budget 2019 announcement included a $179/month per child increase for all BC foster parents. See the announcement here.
Policy Change: Foster Parents Can Now Sign Permission Slips
Foster parents can now sign permission slips for children and youth in care to attend social and recreational activities at school or outside of school. This includes waivers and indemnities. Please see the policy change notes for the guidelines.
